So....yeah, it has been about 6 weeks since gotcha day, 4 weeks since we left China, and I still need to get through our travel! Sorry for the delay. The original plan was to blog in real time, but our connectivity was not the best, and it just took too long with being bumped on and off for my sleep-deprived self to presist through! Then the plan was to be "blogged" though the trip by the end of our one month anniversary :-) However. Vivienne feels that we have far too much to do to allow mama much time on the computer. And since mama has joined Norris Family Insurance Group in a more official capacity recently, that and connecting with the amazing mamas I've journeyed with during the last year and a half eat up my allotted time....Which is pretty much nap time ;-) And I am SO glad! I am so glad she has latched onto us so beautifully, that she is letting us help her work through the issues involved in changes EVERYTHING about your life at the age of 2! But it has put a major kink in the blogging. So....Now it is a Challenge to be met!

Our View of Guanzhou
We arrived at The Garden in the evening, and it is so true what everyone says! No matter how wonderful your provincial city (where Vivienne was) experience is, when you arrive at The Garden you just want to hug the floor! It is GORGEOUS, with huge golden reliefs and the most amazing wooden staircase as centerpieces! It is glitzy but also comfortable and welcoming. There were cool crisp apples waiting for us in our room, and a little backpack with small things for Vivienne in her crib. It was wonderful.
Morning 1: Daddy winning Vivienne's little heart, over and over.
