TA!

TA!!!  We are thrilled to announce that we have travel approval, and we are now only waiting on our consulate appointment to be made before we book tickets and go get our sweet Vivienne!

But this world is not our home and something happened that is delaying families from keeping their consulate appointments and traveling home, delaying Article 5 processes, and you guessed it, there is no making consulate appointments for now!  All we know as fact is that families in C* and here at home all need your prayers for a resolution to this issue so this log jam loosens.  You might also pray for the workers as well- pretty sure this wasn't a great day, even for a Monday!

We need to have our CA set for very early June in order to be able to leave this month.  If that date fills up, we will not travel until mid-June due to the Dragon Boat Festival.  During this festival, there will be no "gotcha days," so we can't travel during the festival.  No dragon boat races for us!

We will update you when we break free of this delay!

So, did I mention?  Vivienne is coming home!  We will spend a week Chongqing City to complete the C* side of her adoption, and a week in Guangzhou, where the U.S. consulate is, to complete the American side of things.  When all is said and done, Vivienne travels home our daughter in the eyes of both countries, and as soon as those little feet touch our soil, she is an American citizen!  And it looks like we will have travel buddies!  I am so excited!  We thought we might travel alone because the partnership with Vivienne's orphanage is so new.  These moms are amazing, fun, caring women, and I cannot wait to meet them in person!
