LOA!

Okay, then!  Well.  We have LOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Not a day later than my last post....I am still in shock 12 hours after the news!  Wow.  And that would be the Lord our God releasing our dossier from a pile on a desk.  (And yes, I may have a slight hair bow problem.  I am not working on it.  I kinda love it!)

LOA is a formal document C* issues titled, "Letter of Seeking Confirmation from Adopter," and we sign it in consent, saying "We accept the adoptee mentioned above."  It means that C* just said yes again, and we just responded yes again, but this time we get to move past all that agreement.

Now we send in our Petition to Classify a Convention Adoptee as an Immediate Relative, or I800 for short. In this document, for the first time, we call Vivienne by the name we are giving her as she is grafted into our family.  We sign documents  for her as guarantors, and we ask the U.S. to consider her to be our daughter.  This step usually takes 2-3 weeks.  Oh, please pray there are no snags and that we are issued paperwork that is all in order!  Adoption is simply one of those things where you should gather your prayer warriors and keep them close to you, and we are so, so grateful for friends, family, and some special FB groups (love my DTC girls!) wrapping this process in prayer.

Like cold water to a weary soul, is good news from a distant land
- Proverbs 25:25
